Total pay is as the Summary Compensation Table states it; actually paid revalues the year’s share awards
at its end, as the SEC’s pay-versus-performance rule asks. $100 invested is what $100 in the company’s
shares at the start of the earliest year shown was worth at each year’s end.
Ownership is the proxy’s own table: the directors and officers as a group, and every holder of 5% or more.

Saia is a transportation company that moves freight for businesses. Founded in 1924, it is headquartered in Johns Creek, Georgia, and led by President and Chief Executive Officer Frederick J. Holzgrefe, III. Its main business is less-than-truckload, or LTL, shipping: carrying freight that does not require a whole truck on its own.
In an LTL network, a carrier picks up shipments from multiple customers, combines them at local freight terminals and moves them between terminals before delivering them to their destinations. Saia LTL Freight primarily handles shipments between 100 and 10,000 pounds. Its services include time-definite and expedited options for customers with specific delivery requirements.
