Business profile

Updated

CrowdStrike is a cybersecurity software company founded in 2011. Its headquarters are in Austin, and George Kurtz is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director.

The company sells subscriptions to the cloud-native Falcon platform, which is designed to help organizations detect, investigate, prevent and respond to cyber threats. A lightweight software sensor is installed on endpoints and cloud workloads. It collects security data from devices, workloads, identities and third-party sources; that data is used across security functions rather than collected separately for each product.

From the latest earnings call

Updated

  • George Kurtz said AI-driven cybersecurity demand and Falcon Flex adoption supported Q2 net new ARR and the company’s higher FY2027 net-new-ARR outlook.
  • Burt Podbere said a record Q3 pipeline and demand across the Falcon platform supported management’s confidence in the full-year opportunity.
