Total pay is as the Summary Compensation Table states it; actually paid revalues the year’s share awards
at its end, as the SEC’s pay-versus-performance rule asks. $100 invested is what $100 in the company’s
shares at the start of the earliest year shown was worth at each year’s end.
Ownership is the proxy’s own table: the directors and officers as a group, and every holder of 5% or more.

10x Genomics is a life sciences technology company that sells instruments, consumables and software to researchers studying biology. Its customers include academic and government research institutions, biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies. The company was incorporated in 2012 and is headquartered in Pleasanton, California. Serge Saxonov is its chief executive officer.
Its tools help scientists examine biological material at the level of individual cells or map where molecules and cells sit within a tissue sample. Researchers use the resulting data in fields including oncology, immunology and neuroscience. The company markets its products for research use only, not for diagnostic procedures.
