Business profile

Updated

Super Micro Computer is a Silicon Valley-based provider of information-technology infrastructure for enterprise data centers, cloud service providers and edge-computing users. It designs and supplies servers, storage systems, networking equipment and related subsystems for workloads including artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, cloud computing, 5G and embedded systems.

The company increasingly sells complete rack- and data-center-scale installations rather than only individual servers. Its Data Center Building Block Solutions combine validated components and subsystems: GPUs, networking switches, servers, storage, racks, power distribution, liquid-cooling equipment, management software, installation and professional services. These installations are designed for AI data centers that need many systems to operate together.

Ownership is the proxy’s own table: the directors and officers as a group, and every holder of 5% or more. Read the proxy statement
