Business profile

Updated

Enpro designs and manufactures industrial products used where equipment must operate reliably in demanding conditions. Its customers include semiconductor equipment makers, industrial facilities, commercial vehicle manufacturers and companies in aerospace, food and biopharmaceutical production. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Charlotte, Enpro is led by President and Chief Executive Officer Eric A. Vaillancourt.

The company operates through two segments. Sealing Technologies makes products that keep fluids or gases contained, including gaskets, seals and packing for pumps and valves. It also sells sensing instruments, components used in hygienic processing, and wheel-end and suspension products for commercial vehicles. These products are used in conditions that can involve high temperatures, pressure, corrosive substances or strict cleanliness requirements.
