Enterprise Products Partners is a North American energy infrastructure business. It moves, processes, stores and exports natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil and other products for producers, marketers and industrial customers. Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Houston, its publicly traded partnership was formed in April 1998. Jim Teague and Randy Fowler are co-chief executives; Teague said Fowler would become sole CEO in January.
The partnership operates between energy production and consumption. Its natural gas facilities remove liquids and impurities from gas so it can enter pipelines and be used as fuel. Other facilities separate mixed natural gas liquids, or NGLs, into products such as ethane and propane. These products can be used for heating, fuel or as raw materials for petrochemicals.
