Latest quarter
Ralliant reported third-quarter revenue of $620.1 million, up 17.2% from $529.1 million a year earlier and above the consensus. Its adjusted earnings of $0.93 per share also exceeded the consensus estimate of $0.77. Revenue came in above the company’s own guidance range.
The company’s filing attributed organic revenue growth to higher volumes and pricing. CEO Tami Newcombe said both Sensors and Safety Systems and Test and Measurement grew organically, while semiconductor revenue declined against a year-earlier quarter that included a large customer project.
Ralliant reported gross margin of 53.2%, compared with 50.8% a year earlier, and operating margin of 18.9%, compared with 9.83%. The filing attributed the operating-margin increase in part to higher volumes and prices, tariff refunds and productivity savings. Diluted earnings per share rose to $0.78 from $0.35, while free cash flow declined to $111.3 million from $126.6 million.

What management said on the call
CEO Tami Newcombe said orders outpaced revenue in both segments and that demand accelerated in the company’s short-cycle businesses. She attributed demand across the business to investment in electrification and defense, as well as technology development from data centers to the edge. Defense and space backlog surpassed $1.5 billion as customers began placing orders against missile-defense contracts, she said.
Asked about utilities, Newcombe said customers were increasing orders and providing visibility into their needs for next year. Ralliant has expanded production within its existing footprint and broke ground on a facility to add capacity, she said. For defense, Newcombe told an analyst that the existing footprint could meet the company’s expectations through 2027, while new facilities and production lines require customer approval.
CFO Neill Reynolds said higher volumes, pricing and accelerated productivity savings contributed to adjusted EBITDA margin expansion. He also noted that a tariff refund helped gross margin; excluding refunds, adjusted gross margin still expanded. Reynolds cautioned that “The supply chain environment is increasingly challenging,” with inflation and limited availability of some inputs.
On competition, Newcombe said selective inventory additions helped secure supply and support lead times, allowing Ralliant to take share in some areas. She also said distributors were placing repeat orders as they sold through inventory. In Test and Measurement, she cited demand for power-electronics testing and new products aimed at data-center and semiconductor applications.
Asked about margins beyond the current year, Reynolds pointed to volume, the balance between prices and costs, and productivity savings; he said he would provide a more specific growth update on the next call. For the coming quarter, he expected improving semiconductor demand to be more apparent in reported revenue as the comparison with the earlier customer project passes.
Guidance
Ralliant raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook, and CFO Neill Reynolds said the company now expects adjusted EBITDA margin of approximately 21.5% and adjusted earnings per share of $3.10 to $3.16. He attributed the updated outlook to third-quarter performance and demand trends.
Reynolds also raised the company’s estimate of productivity-program savings for 2026 and its expected annualized savings rate at year-end.
