Latest quarter
Mueller Industries reported Q3 FY2026 revenue of $1.4 billion, up 31.6% from $1.1 billion a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share rose to $1.00 from $0.94, according to the company’s results.
The filing attributed much of the sales increase to higher selling prices in core products, particularly copper tube, brass rod, and wire and cable, as raw material costs rose. Higher core product volumes and sales from the Bison acquisition also contributed, while the sale of Sherwood partly offset those increases. The filing also cited higher demand for products used in commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration.
Mueller reported gross margin of 25.5%, down from 31.5% a year earlier, and operating margin of 19.8%, down from 25.6%. The filing said cost of goods sold increased alongside the factors driving sales. Free cash flow was $315.0 million, compared with $309.1 million a year earlier.
