What management said on the call

On Incyte’s Q2 call, before the latest quarter, CEO William Meury said increased demand and higher net sales across the portfolio had driven sales growth. He described Jakafi as a funding source for the pipeline and product launches, while saying growth in the core business excluding Jakafi was supported by multiple products and near-term launches.

Meury said the Jakafi XR launch depended on both coverage and adoption. He expected physician adoption to build gradually through the remainder of 2026 as coverage expanded and doctors gained experience with the formulation, with acceleration throughout 2027.

On Opzelura, Meury said resolution of the Medicaid rebate matter improved the product’s gross-to-net profile. He expected prescription growth to translate more efficiently into net sales, but described the pricing and reimbursement environment as dynamic and said maintaining access remained a priority.

Asked about business development and spending as a share of sales, Meury said Incyte would consider opportunities meeting its strategic and financial criteria and could be patient otherwise. He said the company was not managing to a fixed margin percentage and would stop investments if their circumstances changed or performance fell short of expectations.

Chief Scientific Officer Pablo Cagnoni discussed the company’s oncology programs in response to analyst questions. He said Incyte had initiated a phase three pancreatic cancer trial of its G12D inhibitor with chemotherapy and wanted a larger, more mature patient cohort to assess the program. On colorectal cancer, Cagnoni said the company was pursuing a combination with an EGFR inhibitor and described a separate TGF-beta by PD-1 program that could be given alongside full-dose bevacizumab.
